1981 58ft Somerset Houseboat has a hull of constructed of 3/16th welded aluminum plate. The decks consist of of welded aluminum plate. Interior decking consist of plywood over aluminum plates. The super structure is construction is constructed of fiberflass panels and aluminum uprights. The bottom of the hull is covered with an epoxy coating.

The vessel is equiped with 2 automatic electric bilge pumps, the engine space has a venilation system consisting of 1 electric blower. The vessel runs from the power of (2) 260 hp Mercruiser engines. The engines have approx 458 hr on them. The transmission has 2002 Mercruiser Alpha Drives standard gearing 1:48:1.

The eletrical system runs off of 3 batteries that are charged with a 30 amp charger serving all 3 batteries.

The vessel is cooled with 2 carrier 13,500 air conditioners. The front air is approx 1 year old and the rear air was installed in August 2007.
